 Spin FAQ

Isn’t indoor cycling (spinning) challenging? Are your classes for all levels? What if I can’t do everything?
Yes and no. Classes are only as hard as you make them. Your instructor will lead you through a preset class structure, but you can freely adjust your settings. You can make the class as difficult or as easy as you would like. That’s the beauty of indoor cycling and riding in a dim lit room — you can ALWAYS take it at your own pace and control the intensity, speed and resistance of your ride.

Do I need to reserve a bike or can I just walk in? We highly recommend you reserve a bike with our online system we make it easy and efficient to plan your next workout. We honor all reservations first then the class is open for walk-ins.

Do you have an app that I can download and use to book classes? Yes! Our app is available at your App store under MindBody. You can view class schedules, purchase classes, book classes and check out ongoing promotions.

First time rider + arriving late + leaving early
If you’re not signed in 3 minutes prior to class, we will give away your bike, if needed. If you’re running late, please call the studio and we will hold your bike. To preserve the experience and respect of fellow riders, we do not allow anyone to enter a class later than 5 minutes after the class has started. If you must leave early, please let the instructor know ahead of time.

What should I bring/wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothes. It is recommended that you wear tight-fitting pants or shorts. Although you don’t necessarily need to wear bike shorts, please make sure your pants/shorts are not excessively baggy or have loose material that can become stuck in the bike or will bunch (can you say “uncomfortable?”). We provide towels during your ride.
Bring a water bottle. There are water fountains on site.

What kind of pedals are on your bikes?
The bikes have Shimano combo pedals. You can either clip-in with your cycling shoes, or wear your sneakers and use the adjustable cages.

Do you have locker rooms?
We sure do, we have changing areas and restrooms equipped with showers. Blow dryers, and an array of products are provided. Showering, bring your own towel.

Charlotte Napier

Spin Director/Instructor

As a wife, mother of three, and real estate professional I realized a long time ago that fitness gave me the energy and focus in my day to day life to be happy, healthy, and productive. I began as a reluctant runner and then added workouts in the gym. Within a year my entire life had changed as a result. I ran my first marathon that year, was certified to teach spinning, kickboxing, and pilates. Every aspect of my life was touched and I realized what a passion I had for helping others realize what was inside them as well. I have been guiding spin classes for over 15 years and love to see people of all ages and physical abilities see positive results as they challenge themselves on the spin bikes. My goal as a fitness instructor is to inspire and encourage others to reach their physical goals to enrich every part of life.

Seng Amonette

Spin Director/Instructor

My name is Seng Amonette. My husband and I moved our family to Bowling Green a little over a year ago from Brentwood, Tn.

I am a mother to two wonderful and healthy children. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom after the birth of my second child.

When I first quit my job I had to adjust my life a little bit. I lost my identity and had to do a little soul searching.

About six months after I had my first child I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and had to go through several therapy with various side effects, one of which was a huge weight gain. When I went into remission the weight stayed. I decided to take matters into my own hands and started a lifestyle change. I started running. First on a treadmill at home then I joined YMCA. I started running with the running group and going to indoor cycling. Pairing my five days a week workout with a healthy diet plan, the weight started to come off. A year into cycling I was hooked and took my passion one step further and got certified to teach what I love to do. I love to pour my energy to others and watch them grow their fitness level.
